Meet Hans! He is a classy, well-bred 7yo, 16h OTTB gelding who has been off the track for just over a year. This guy was fairly lightly raced with 24 starts over a four year career. For horses that run on the turf as opposed to the dirt, racing is more seasonal with fewer races, often resulting in lighter careers. This guy went on winter break in ‘24/25 with the intention of returning to racing. Circumstances kept that from happening and they finally decided he had stood around long enough and needed a second career! He is super kind and easy in the barn and loves grooming and pampering. Under saddle, he is relaxed with lovely swinging gaits. He has stepped over cross rails and small verticals and is straightforward and willing. He is one of those horses that is super fun to work with as he makes progress each ride! Hans has no vices or limitations. Located in Summerfield, NC
