9/1/26 - Colin has spent the summer traveling and showing with us! He has grown up quite a bit and is showing both physical and mental maturity! This stellar young horse is ready to find his own person! He has developed quite a lovely rhythm on the flat and we can see him going in any direction! Once again, we find ourselves overloaded with horses so we are offering him for an incredible deal! This is a rare opportunity to own a young, talented horse with lots of off property experience in the four figures!
If you are looking for an outstanding horse with the talent and brain to take you to the top, this might be your guy. Rarely do you see thoroughbreds that move this nicely, especially in their first ride off the track! Colin, a 16.1 h, 4yo is another lovely gelding by our favorite sire Juba! He is a big, powerful mover so needs a strong rider, but he is kind and willing. Colin seems to love jumping and is quite the natural! Colin is quite leggy and rangy and we wouldn’t be surprised to see him grow another inch or two over the next year. He does have an old scar above his fetlock right hind but it isn’t an issue for him. Colin is sound with no vices. Located in Summerfield, NC
3/14 Colin went to his first show and, as expected, he traveled like a dream! Colin unloaded peacefully and stood quietly tied to the trailer. He did a few dressage tests, earning glowing comments from the judge and two scores of over 69. Despite a slightly chaotic atmosphere that featured horses galloping in nearby pastures and others calling repeatedly for buddies, Colin never batted an eye and stayed focused and professional. After his dressage, he got a chance to hack out and tackle a few cross country obstacles, including a bank. He proved brave and willing, stepping over everything without a second thought! His guy is a great prospect for anyone looking for their next upper level event horse!
