We have a very special gelding offered for sale! Andy came to us straight off the track in 2023 and has been ridden by one of our great boarders since. We have been here through all of his restarting and training so we know him very well! Andy has tons of dressage experience, has evented through novice, and loves stadium (currently jumping 3’). Andy absolutely loves attention and is super laid back in the barn and pasture. He is the type of horse that will stand all day and fall asleep during grooming then you can get on and jump a course, or hop on bareback and go for a trail ride. Andy’s idea of the perfect home is one which shares his aspirations of low key, lower level success and offers a wide variety of adventures. Andy is the type that always shows up and always does his best no matter what the day brings, but he is always down for a casual hack where he can and take in the sights! He is honest and steady but prefers a rider with an independent seat and hand as he can get heavy if the rider hangs on his mouth. He would make the absolute perfect Pony Club type horse! We will be extra picky about where this guy goes as he is a barn favorite and we want to find him the best possible fit! Andy had an extensive PPE after his track career in early 2023 with no significant findings. He does not require maintenance but does wear four shoes. No vices or limitations.
