Royal Spy

Who can resist that face??? With his bright star, adorable snip, and gorgeous eye, you can't help but want to cuddle him! This adorable gelding came to us literally a day after his last race and immediately settled in to farm life. He went out quietly and has enjoyed peacefully exploring his pasture and munching on hay. We couldn't help but laugh as we tried to take his conformation pictures as he was way more interested in trying to eat the leaves and sticks we were using to get his ears up than he was in posing!  Eddie has a naturally curious personality and spent his first turnout in the indoor exploring every corner including putting his head in the trash can. He isn't spooky and we can already tell that he learns quickly.  Under saddle Eddie is nice and steady and carries a naturally slow rhythm. He has a great safe feel to him.  He is still a bit tight from racing and just got new shoes so his lovely movement will continue to develop as he gets more comfortable.  This guy will be the perfect restart for a jr or ammy working with a trainer.  Eddie retired sound with no issues. Clean legged with no vices or limitations.
