Nick is a lovely 15.3h 7yo OTTB gelding by Frost Giant. He ran 35 times, earning about $44k before retiring in August of this year. His owner from the track liked Nick so much that he wanted to keep him and turned him out at a farm near the track. Unfortunately, the owner realized that we wasn’t going to have the free time he needed so he made the hard decision to find Nick a home where he could have more attention and a second career! Nick is learning to accept the bridle and carry himself correctly. He creates a lovely, correct shape in the bridle and is very well balanced! This guy is going to shine in the show ring. Because he has been turned out for a few months, he needs a bit of a glow up, but you can already see the amazing horse that he will become. His previous owner wanted to make sure we knew how much Nick loves carrots so someone willing to provide his favorite snack is a plus. We have found that, while he loves carrots, he’s a pretty big fan of treats in any form!!
Nick is sound with no vices or limitations.
