I had planned a trip to pick up horses when one of my favorite trainers asked if I needed another. The responsible answer was no, but, when he told me the geldings name, I just couldn't pass him up! And boy am I glad I added him to the trip! Great Days Ahead (affectionately known as Pax) climbed on the trailer amid the chaos of loading three other horses, buried his head in his hay bag, and literally didn't move a foot. His calm, go with the flow attitude continued throughout the trip and onto the farm. He went into the indoor, trotted around the outside like a hunter in an under saddle class, then walked back to me as if to ask "what's next?" He stood like a gentleman for his spa treatment and conformation pictures but he really impressed us in his first ride. Pax walked, trotted, and cantered quietly under saddle and even willingly stepped over his first cross rails. This guy is truly one in a million and will make someone an amazing partner. Pax is brave and not spooky at all. Best of all, he carries an amazing natural rhythm under saddle. Pax is a 5yo 16h gelding with a beefy, thick build. He is great in the barn and in the pasture. Sound with no vices and ready to go any direction!!
