Once you meet Astro, you will quickly realize why he wasn’t particularly successful as a race horse! This beefy, 15.2h 5yo gelding could easily pass as a quarter horse in appearance! Astro is pleasant to have around and easy to handle in the barn. He is brave without being pushy or disrespectful. Under saddle, he has proven to be a straightforward ride with a nice natural balance and a lovely canter.He is not spooky and is a bit of a kick ride. I could see this guy being a great restart for an ammy or a jr working with a trainer! Astro retired sound and clean legged and has no vices or issues.
